Hello all! I first want to say I want to I love working especially doing something I truly enjoy. I've mostly had fast food/retail customer service and cashier. I am the go to for support with customer disputes, fixing issues with orders or accounts and selling products everyone wants. I'm happiest while working with people, whether over phone or in person and to be honest it's what I'm best at in general. Customers are number one and putting a smile on someone's face, or helping them resolve their problems to their satisfaction is deeply satisfying and a must. I work very well in a slow or fast pace job, dealing with simple tasks all the way to entering information/ and-or updating computer profiles or plans. I go to work happy and excited trying to assist people in any way they may need, and I do so genuinely happy because that's what my passion is. I'm a recovering drug addict of 2 and a half years, lost my home slept in a tent, lost my kids, hit absolute rock bottom to where I wanted to die. April 2019 I Ended up overdosing and was found in the woods behind Walmart on Wilma Rudolph. Any later and I would have been dead, but what ultimately saved my life. Been clean ever since, and getting my bachelor's in criminal Justice so I can help those who truly want help and need that kick that their family needs them. Be the person that I wished I had, in that time and help inmates or the ones who people doubt and say are never gonna do anything in life become who they've always been, just now truly want and need the faith. Also become part of society, and humanize them and be with their families. Telling my story, I hope will tell how determined I am to help people and show I am best working with people. Dollar General is the job that showed me just how much I truly enjoyed working with people. Customers from over the years told me that they better keep me because the mood of the store shifted dramatically and I did my job efficiently and got laughs and conversation at the same time. My manager and customers are why I loved what I did and hate that I along with the manager and other employees were forced to quit to put a newer crew in that noone cared for and didn't do their job. Not too happy with DG and hate the management, because honestly my favorite job. I'd love work from home positions, because it gives me time with my daughter and gives me time to get my college work done as well. I would love the opportunity to show just how badly I want to work, especially work with helping people.
