Ceo. Bank Transformation ✅Ikano Bank Jan 2019 - Oct 2024Malmö, SeKickstarted clean up-phase whereafter new strategy to transform the bank with new and current colleagues was launched. Together addressing four areas to manage the extent of change needed in a highly regulated company: People/Culture, Commercial, Technology and Governance/Regulatory. Focus on strengthening two mains perspectives 1) relevance in offering and 2) efficiency in costs and processes. Targeting once again becoming the entrepreneurial driven bank Ingvar Kamprad once started, combined with updated and future proof digital capabilities, new offerings, successfully merging 8 local organizations with approx. 1000 coworkers into one bank-wide functionally steered organisation managing multiple markets and creating a strong people movement and future. Moving from low to high engagement (5.4 to 8.6), from 29% people turnover per year to 8%, strengthening eNPS from low scores to higher, now ranging between 30-38 during 2024 and much more. Even though most things remain to be done (as Ingvar said) the most intensive transformation is done and transformation / constant change has become a natural part of the bank’s everyday business. Overall targets were to deliver a transformed bank and deepen the partnership with and come closer to Ingka. Together with the amazing Ingka (IKEA) the bank has endless opportunities to support the many people and businesses. Our new partnership led to Ingka acquiring 49% of the bank in 2021 and Oct 17th Ingka became the sole owner of the bank. Targets accomplished:✅ Delivering a digital transformation and setting the foundation for the future while bringing 8 local organisations into one functionally steered company ✅ Deepening the partnership with the world’s largest furniture retailer.
