I taught English as a second language to Koreans for 5 years. I also worked as a CSR for a year or two with several BPOs. Then I became a legal researcher in the Supreme Court of the Philippines and was assigned to the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Iloilo City. I just recently resigned from my position after 15 years of service in the government. I was tasked with researching cases and statutes applicable to cases we handle in court. I also helped draft court orders and decisions as well as proofread. During the pandemic, when the courts moved into the online world, I handled our Office 365, Teams, and emails. I was also a community organizer during my free time, after hours, and on weekends, helping organize workshops and lectures for the queer community in the City. I represented Iloilo Pride Team in national and International Conferences for LGBT. I also gave paralegal workshops and discussions in farmers' and indigenous people's communities. Lectures on the SOGIE Bill and SOGIESC to many government institutions, universities, and schools had been a regular activity for 3 years until the pandemic hit.Leading the yearly Pride Marches as one of its organizers has always been a source of PRIDE for me. Coordinating with local government units, private companies, and civil society organizations to ensure the widest reach of our message of inclusivity was a challenge but very fulfilling work for me.I recently moved to France to be with my partner and I hope to be a digital nomad. That's why I have started to study social media management, website creation, FB ads, copywriting, and SEO, as well as data analytics. I hope to be able to deliver the best work I can do in this new field.
