- Manages and represents American Councils for International Education, an international education and development NGO, and its stakeholders within the Republic of Uzbekistan. This includes management of a $34.4M education and development portfolio on behalf of the US Department of State (ECA/SCA), the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, and the USAID/Uzbekistan Mission.- Manages an operations, finance, and technical/program staff of 56 across five offices within Uzbekistan. Primarily based in Tashkent with offices in Fergana, Namangan, Qarshi, and Samarkand. This includes several LTTA/STTA international experts, local consultants, subcontractors, and ministerial PMU. - Manages and oversees development, revision, and implementation of American Councils policy, procedure and protocol ranging from finance, accounting, legal, HR, reporting, award management, reporting compliance, data retention, privacy, travel, CTIP, procurement, and taxation. Ensures local registration, reporting compliance with the GOU, and donor compliance for all projects, activities, and awards. - Currently oversees and manages a robust program portfolio of 15 education and development projects that include youth employment, youth exchange, higher education capacity building, faculty exchange, youth focused TVET and 21st century foundational learning skills building, internship curriculum design, business education and adult leadership exchange, teacher and school leadership in-service training and licensure, educational assessment and certification,.- Leads international business development, proposal writing, budgeting, international staffing and recruitment, project design and approach for the field office.- Serves as a key thought leader on educational reform and international education projects, leadership and representation at various events, forums, conferences, and donor-implementation meetings with respective MoPSE, MHESI, and the Republican Center within the Government of Uzbekistan.

Tashkent, Uzbekistan

- Manage and implement a 5-year,$10M youth workforce readiness and employment activity on behalf of USAID/Uzbekistan. Oversee a technical and operational staff of 14 while coordinating four international and local sub-recipients.- Work closely with gender equity, social inclusion, and TVET CSOs to ensure inclusive project approaches to educational products, deliverables, and outcomes. This includes frequent outreach, training, and workshopping for Fergana-based private sector partners, public administrators, education and labor specialists, as well as teachers, parents, local community leaders and activists. - Coordinating frequently with the MEL Technical Lead, American Councils Office of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning to ensure quality assurance around data collection, disaggregation, and analysis. The USAID/YES Activity employs a Random Control Trial (RCT) approach to a cluster-based sample of 18 schools throughout the pilot region of Fergana. In addition to managing the RCT, the activity has set a robust research agenda and is collecting 17 USAID indicators with varying output and outcome results.- Managing the project deliverables (QPR, APR, AMELP, AIP, DIS/DDL) along with regular communications with the donor and the local Uzbekistan beneficiaries - the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MoPSE) and the Republican Center for the Development of Education. - The USAID/YES Activity has developed several activities over the course of five years to meet the three primary objectives of the project - 1.) develop, write, and contextualize grade 8-11 TLMs and textbooks for economics, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy in Uzbek along with teacher guide and online curricula; 2.) develop, pilot, and scale-up supplemental after-school informal business clubs that focus on practicum, accelerators, and private sector learning labs for grade 8-11 students; 3.) strengthen and enhance educational and social networks between public education and PSE.

Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

· Manages the Prep4Success Program, a $2.89 million Department of State award through the US Embassy in Ashgabat Public Affairs Section· Supervises a program staff of five in the main Ashgabat office and 12 EducationUSA advisers and staff in four regional American Corners throughout the country.· Oversees the day-to-day office operations and program administration, participant and program material coordination, lead seminars and trainings, and build innovative program activities and logistics systems.· Liaise regularly with the Public Affairs Section of the US Embassy in Ashgabat, providing semiannual award and financial reporting and collaborate on programmatic design and implementation.

Global UGRAD is a 3 year $16.8M State Department project funded by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs that brings participants from around the world to study abroad at American universities for an academic semester.- Managing the annual $1.88M Eurasia and Central Asia portfolio which consists of participants recruited through local US Embassy Public Affairs Offices throughout 18 countries in Eastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus, and Central Asia to study abroad at local universities in the US.- Won and managed $332K in individual program grants for US Embassies in Moscow, Tbilisi, Kyiv, Podgorica, and Bishkek- Monitoring and evaluating participant progress and success while on program. Reporting quarterly to ECA/A/E.-Event planning and coordination for large international conferences that bring participants, stakeholders and private business leaders together to engage and promote the goals and objectives of the program.- Directly communicating and organizing logistics with US Public Affairs Offices abroad on a daily basis.

Kyiv, Ukraine

- Daily outreach and recruitment of secondary school youth program participants for the FLEX (Future Leadership Exchange) program, a global youth exchange and public diplomacy initiative funded by the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.- Supported, administered, and conducted testing and interviewing throughout regional city centers in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.- Serve as a point of reference and liaison with local and state level government officials as well as represent the interests of American Councils for International Education- Manage scheduling, logistics, project resources and alumni operations while traveling throughout various regions of Kazakhstan and Ukraine. - Advertise and communicate with various local government organizations and schools in the area to promote program awareness and readiness in Russian. - Provide financial reporting and budgeting for recruitment activities and analysis about future project management changes.

- English for Special Purposes (ESP) for 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students in the Faculty of English Language and Translation. Supported conversational English for advanced proficiency university students. - Taught Petro-State Politics and Caspian Sea Politics in English for 3rd and 4th year undergraduates in the Faculty of International Relations. Developed curriculum around ongoing energy and macro-level political systems with the Caspian Sea basin (Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Iran). Covered topics around energy diversification, future game theory in Central Asia, and English for political science and international relations.

Almaty, Kazakhstan

- Classroom teacher for international school students (grades 4 - 10) serving as an English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher. - Collaborated with school administration and management on the development of curricula, teaching and learning materials (TLMs), as well as assessment, teacher and student standards, methodological and pedagogical standard development to meet International Baccalaureate (IB) international school global standards.- Conducted after-school and in-school enhancement and learning activities - sports, music, and performance clubs and events for primary year program (PYP) and middle year program (MYP) students and parents.

- Completed Pre-Service Training that included extensive Russian and Kazakh language courses, cultural awareness seminars, and 100+ hours of curriculum development, in-class practicum, and teacher training in Almaty, Kazakhstan.- Worked with a staff of eight local language teachers, a faculty of 100+ teachers and administrators and taught over 25 hours of English language, pedagogy and etymology at College Bolashak in Karaganda, Kazakhstan.- Organized, lead and developed various educational and informational English language clubs and groups at the Karaganda Oblast State Library named after Gogol. Served as a point of contact for Peace Corps at the Department of State (DoS) American Corner.- Served as the Peace Corps Security Liasion and emergency point of contact for fellow Peace Corps Volunteers (PCV) in the immediate and surrounding towns and villages throughout the Karaganda and Central Kazakhstan region. - Worked as a Program Associate with Sau Arpak, a local public health NGO in Karaganda working on the Post-Secret KZ project, a project that promotes healthy lifestyles and HIV/AIDS awareness. - Collaborated, developed and implemented teacher trainings for local language teachers in the Karaganda and Almaty regions, as well as worked with local NGOs developing sustainable after-school programs and summer camps for at-risk youth and teens. Lead, organized and monitored the first annual Bolashak College language summer camp for local youth. - Organized and lead English language groups at Bolashak University. These groups focused primarily on career development and post-graduate international education opportunities.- Worked with American Council's EducationUSA program at Bilim Center in Karaganda, facilitating and organizing adult language learning.- Served as a representative of the US Peace Corps in the community and surrounding region.
