Led marketing operations & team management at Burford Capital, the industry leader in legal finance. Specifically managed all lead generation activity including events (hosted and sponsored), email marketing, content generation for customer segments. I also developed a sub brand identity and launch campaign for The Equity Project, a $50MM fund designed to help close the gender gap in legal matters represented by female lawyers.

The LGBTQ+ community (and people who go without labels entirely), have specific healthcare needs. Lighthouse connects patients with providers nearby who understand those needs and strive to eliminate stigma, disparities and barriers in LGBTQ+ healthcare.I supported the founders of this mission-driven startup in developing the platform's marketing capabilities, user acquisition, optimizing digital marketing channels and deriving insights from analytics.

Marketing lead for consumer, sales and business opportunities for BBC News brands in the Americas (Canada, U.S., Caribbean, Latin America). I led growth efforts for the brand in the Americas including B2B and B2C campaigns on TV, Online and in Print. I was the marketing lead behind BBC News’ 6x growth in TV distribution in the US (+25 million households) between 2011 and 2014; during that time I helped the brand launch with the likes of Comcast, TWC and AT&T while continuously improving brand awareness & adoption YoY. I also spearheaded the launch of Salesforce for our global distribution sales operations, where I led the business case from conception to execution. I also led marketing innovations by developing a robust B2B marketing website, department wide budgeting tools that are still in use today and our first ever live-news contextual digital advertising campaigns for BBC Spanish and Portuguese online and mobile news (PPC Adwords & Display).

Network sales, account management and marketing in Latin America. Managed $5MM+ ARR across 70 television distributor accounts across Latin America (ex: Telefonica, Telmex, SkyBrasil) for global clients: BBC World News, Ecuavisa, PurescreensHD, CCTV.A highlight was building a sweepstakes campaign with SkyBrasil (Brazil's largest premium satellite TV provider); to make the most out of a small budget, I negotiated a co-promotion partnership with British Airways to offer a sweepstakes prize trip to visit the BBC newsroom in London, UK. SkyBrasil reported it as their most successful sweepstakes campaign ever produced, outperforming a National Geographic sponsored trip to see polar bears in Alaska.
