I managed a crew as we moved, sorted, and reconfigured high-end roofing materials such as slate and tile. Unlike the traditional shingle, which may only last 20 years, the robust nature of slate and tile allow them to survive much longer. In some cases, slate stays viable for over a century! With that in mind, the company acts to reclaim roofing that may as well been destined for the trash pile, and instead, it promotes sustainability by providing the marketplace with literal tons of perfectly viable used pieces.

I acted as a board member on the charity One Library at a Time; this charity works to setup libraries in the developing nations of Central and Southern America. Additionally, it works to setup these libraries in a manner that allows them to act autonomously, after the initial setup.
