Information Technology Professional with over 20 years of experience providing Level I – Level III support. My past projects have included server migrations and updates, desktop and laptop upgrades and image refresh. I have worked with multiple clients through Managed Service Providers and have experience from desktop to server administration, and within an Enterprise supporting a mobile workforce and multiple satellite locations. One of my earliest projects was migrating from on premise fax to a cloud service. I was able to oversee the porting of 50 direct dial numbers from our carrier to the Efax service. I’ve been involved with multiple projects for voice systems – hardware and system updates, virtualization and server restore, programming for IVR and ACD, and migration of services from on premise to cloud. For about the last five years I have worked specifically with Unified Communications providing support and administration for PBX on premise, Contact Center, Voicemail, and mobile phones. The last two years I worked on projects to migrate Contact Center to the cloud from Cisco UCC to Talk Desk, and I was the Technical Lead/Project Manager for retiring the on premise PBX systems and migrating first to Skype for Business, and then to Microsoft Teams. My telephony experience goes back almost twenty years, originally working with Nortel Option 11C and Nortel Contact Center. Before leaving WIKA, one of my project assignments was to do health checks for the four main site locations in the U.S. These site visits included deployment of user devices (mobile and laptops), upgrades for firewall, internet service, and verification of network infrastructure including routers, switches, WiFi Access Points and other devices. My most recent contract was with the Dept. of Aging for the State of Ohio. I was responsible for overseeing the configuration of eight new conference rooms and moving five others to a new office location. The client used a combination of Polycom, Samsung and Microsoft Teams for conferencing and voice calls. I worked directly with the vendor to complete the project which included room configuration and integration into Exchange Calendar, verification of user permissions, and training and documentation.
