I am a result driven professional who is interested in people, the Second World War, cultures and countries.It was already during my bachelor’s degree at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, that I tried working within HR and at the same time working in an international environment. This was one of the main reasons why I decided to do a half-year internship in Cape Town, where I learned to look at HR from a different, international perspective. It was during my fourth year of my bachelors that I had the great opportunity to further extend my knowledge of working in an international environment. I joined the Global Mobility Company department of the Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). This was an internship as part of my graduation and it provided me with an enriching experience and opportunity to develop my work experience in a dynamic, high demanding environment.After my studies, I decided to travel on my own by traveling through Southeast-Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines) this gave me a never forgetting experience and allowed me to discover new cultures and people.Today, I am proudly working as a Project Assistant at Liberation Route Europe Foundation (LREF) where I am back in an international environment. At LRE, I have the unique opportunity to combine working with people coming from different backgrounds and countries together with topics about WWII. Working at Liberation Route Europe Foundation allows me to extend my cross-cultural skills, to learn more about WWII and to meet new people every day.
