I designed and developed an electronic module for controlling the throttle position of a kart engine mounted on a fully automated testbench. The throttle is actuated by a digital servomotor, which is precisely controlled by a microprocessor programmed in C++. The system features integrated auto-calibration (also programmed), ensuring accurate and consistent performance. Additionally, it can be connected to a specialized computer that simulates race track conditions, providing realistic test scenarios. Alternatively, the system can accept a simple 0-5V signal for manual control of the calibrated servomotor.
