As a consultant of SIGGIS I am responsable for the integration, development, support of GIS webapplications and maintaining the databases. At the moment I do consultancy for Infrabel, the national company of the Belgian rail infrastructure. I'm implementing an application to maintain the cadastral data of Infrabel. Another project is Rato, where we create a GIS webapp and a mobile field application to register rats, vermin, and invasive plants. During the time I was working for Witas I was also closely involved in ThorbiQ, which is a spin off of Witas. ThorbiQ offers a BIM application platform for manufacturers. This platform provides an all-encompassing virtual (BIM) representation of their products to all relevant building actors. I was employed at the start of the spin off, so I developed, improved and enhanced the integration between the online platform and the Revit application (client side) from scratch. We used sockets connections to create the integration. Together with my colleagues I was also involved in the buissiness logic (backend) of the online product selector.

Witas is a Software and Services company for the BIM/CAD industry. I was responsible for creating custom commercial addins for architect and engineering offices in Autodesk Revit. I also created internal tools to manage, create and translate Revit content, ArchiCAD content and the IFC content. Customer support and managing GIT in GitLab were also some of my tasks.

COLAS Belgium is a big firm for public and private road construction in Belgium. Collaborating with a small survey team, we successfully managed around 30 construction sites, overseeing surveying, as-built documentation, and stakeouts for road infrastructures, sewerage, and railways in Brussels and Flanders. I've worked with the most major survey brands (Leica, Topcon and Trimble). Other tasks were creating 3D models for construction machine control, and designing, improving and volumecalculating in CAD software. To enhance efficiency, I developed internal tools in CAD software (Pythagos) for task optimization and automation.
