Managing the operations and development of customer services at all train stations in The Netherlands, leading a department of ~500 FTE with full P&L responsibility. Services includes; OV-fiets (bike rental/sharing, >4 million rentals p/a), management of guarded bicycle sheds (>600,000 parking places), car parking (>40,000 places), taxi, lockers, media, toilets and waiting facilities. Achievements include;- Created 25-30% growth of OV-fiets usage per year (from 1.4 mln rentals in 2014 to 4.2 mln in 2018), by focusing on operational excellence and professionalism in the organization.- Insourced and built the organization for management of guarded bicycle sheds, increased the number of sheds under management from 5 to over 60 with over 500 FTE employed in three years while introducing a new concept/format.- Negotiated a covenant with the Ministry of Transport and relevant stakeholders to collaborate and raise the investment (first tranche of €200m) for bicycle parking at train stations in The Netherlands - Rebuilt IT platform for door-to-door products to create open system and connect different resellers, besides delivered new innovative customer facing systems for OV-fiets and bicycle parking.- Revitalised management team by introducing coaching style of leadership and delegating responsibilities. Four out of six direct reports asked to keep mentoring after the end of the working relationship.

International expansion of retail business within stations throughout Europe. Created country specific entry strategies, business plans and investment proposals, and set up pilot projects.
