Delivery lead for the IoT program, consisting of three development teams working in a distributed Agile model. The BDR IoT Connected Services platform is an Azure based cloud platform designed to capture connected device statuses and expose them via API’s to a wide variety of consuming application such as Sitecore Portals, reports and mobile applications. The IoT platform allows BDR to optimize its Service organization and to consolidate existing platforms into one Azure based platform.

I started my career as software developer specializing in Microsoft technologies . Along the way I got more and more fascinated by project management and delivery. In the past years I’ve been working as Scrum Master, Release Train engineer and Delivery Lead on Agile projects and have become passionate about the Agile way of working.

A wide variaty of development projects for several clients in the Banking and Water domain, a major furniture retailer and smaller clients. Technologies used vary from MCMS, BizTalk, ASP.Net and SharePoint.

Scrum Master, Agile coach and overall responsible for delivery of the new Digital Workplace solution for Tata Steel. The Digital Hub replaced the existing Intranet solutions, providing a seamless, personalized, relevant and multi device solution for all employees.

With the implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) the Agile Release Train BI & Analytics has been introduced at Transavia. As Release Train Engineer (RTE) I have coached Transavia and the scrum teams in embracing agile practices and values, been responsible for predictable delivery of the teams, staffing, budget and organizing the PI planning events.

Coordinating the upgrade and SharePoint developer. SharePoint upgrade from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2010 for the document management system used at Buma/Stemra. This also involved minor changes and extensive testing of the web service that was created in 2009.

The project entailed the creation of centralized generic building blocks, such as a portal, case and relationship management, and generic facilities, such as workflow, messaging and correspondence templates.
