By the end of 2007, a large part of the international organization of ABN AMRO was taken over by RBS. My role was programme manager 'IT & Operations' in the separation programme ‘Wonderwall’ (Core Banking & Payments) that went successfully live in July 2009. Responsibilities contained all domestic and global Liquidity management (corporate treasury) products, Billing (central and local), Financial Institutions Reporting and Seal bag administration.

The goal of the Caesar program was to centralize the different country core banking, mid office, liquidity management, billing and reporting systems into 1 system; SAP Deposits Management. My role in this program was team lead for back office replacement of liquidity management. With the team we created gap analys documents, blueprints, configuration proposals and worked out operational processes. Also worked on reporting proposals (SWIFT, electronic channels, paper statements) and managing the necessary changes in the Dutch back office (Mainframe). In this project I gained a lot of in depth knowledge on SAP DM and SAP BI and gained a lot of experience in setting up a project where systems are getting centralized and operational processes are changing.

In the period at Capgemini I have developed myself from programmer, technical designer, functional designer to project leader. I worked on different projects at ABN AMRO and EDS mainly in the liquidity management area. Short projects done on EC directives and on mortgages in US. In this period we made a start with offshoring, first in Pakistan, later in India.
