As new business manager, together with my team of 3ft, we are looking for new opportunities in order to create additional turnover for Strootman Group. These opportunities can be new products, but also adding new channels and countries. In this function I'm part of the Management Team. Product related my focus is mainly in other categories than chocolates and confectionary f.e.x. canned fish, pasta and snacks. In 2014 I finished a project together with Croky (Roger&Roger) with whom I developed a very successful chips range (Crazy Ribble). In the meantime a few succesful line extensions have been added to the Crazy Ribble assortment (sharing bag, Tubes & Astro's).By combining my sales skills and buying skills I'm like no other in the possibility to understand customers needs and translate them into successful results. Examples of successful projects I finished recently are King Peppermints Bags (Cloetta), Private Label Spaghetti (Dobbele), Private Label Noodles (KG Groupe), Hot Dog Kit (Vleems) & Cheese Dippers (Uniekaas).At the moment I'm working on some new projects of one is a budget label cookies under the Mammoet brand & a new PL vegatable chips both will be introduced beginning 2017.Regarding sales me and my team are mostly orientated at upcoming markets like Asia & Middle East. With a dedicated sales team with an international character we create our own succes.

As senior buyer I'm responsible for 30 million euro of a total of 50 million turnover of the Strootman Group.I'm the contact person for all major accounts within the Benelux dealing with f.e.x. Nestle, Mars, Mondelez, Ferrero, Perfetti van Melle, Storck & Cloetta.One of my successes is the reintroduction of the brand Nippon into Dutch retail market with structural listings at AS Watson & Big Bazar (part of the Blokker group).Next to that I'm responsible within the Strootman Group for keeping track of our stocks. High rotation is key for our business model.

As vice president of the works council of De Lotto I had a key position trying to present the voice of employees.

As National Account Manager I was responsible for sales of The Lotto products in the Dutch food retail market.The Lotto games are traditional played in convenience stores, but I successfully started business with Detailconsult (Dirk) and Albert Heijn (AH). An increase of in total 1.000 points of sales.

I was responsible for sales to chains within the non food retail channel. I dealt with accounts like Zeeman and Wibra within in the Netherlands, but my main focus was building new business in Europe.I created new business with some major accounts in Eastern Europe which I sold mainly chocolate & confectionary products of big FMCG players as Mars, Nestle, Kraft etc.

Responsible for all sales & marketing activities on events like Sensation, Dance Valley & Defqon.Account responsible for Q-dance.
