The primary goal of this system is to optimize multi-modal traffic flow on a micro-level (a number of intersections,roundabouts, corridors) by computing optimal signal plans and sending them to the signal controllers. The main input consists of image-detected traffic objects by so-called FlowCubes. As a lead designer I contributed in a scrum team designing and developing the Dropwizard modules for this system.
