CurrentI worked on a variety of projects related to mooring and motion analysis, as well as workflow optimization. My responsibilities included conducting static and dynamic mooring analysis for various configurations (inshore quay mooring, offshore side-by-side, field mooring, etc.) and performing motion analysis (both in frequency and time domain and for single or multi-body).I also focused on optimizing workflows, mostly migrating tools from Excel to Python to improve performance, quality, and consistency. This resulted in one integrated python package for all the key activities of my team. For this project to succeed I had to consult with other team-member about previously made tools and implementations. This shift drastically improved performance, quality, and consistency across the team's work. I developed an integrated Python package that streamlined key activities, enhancing team productivity and reducing manual errors. The project required me to collaborate closely with colleagues to understand existing tools, integrate them into a unified system, and ensure the solution met the team's evolving needs.In addition to these core tasks, I was involved in implementing new analysis methods to improve statistical estimates, such as using weibull based MPM's. I explored opportunities for integrating AI into workflows, including automating report generation, interpreting drawings, and developing company-wide policies on AI use. I collaborated with the IT department to empower employees in writing high-quality, performant code and tools. Additionally, I was the developer of a data architecture that enabled the development of tools and dashboards for accessing and analyzing historical company data. The latter also allowed for prediction of future projects.
