Touchpoint is the global platform within ING to have one way of authentication, party agreements and customer notifications. For this platform I manage multiple teams that developed and maintain one way of building, deploying, testing & running docker containers in Openshift. These platform teams take away the complexity from the teams to reduce time to market and to leverage the expertise of the engineers to make sure that all applications are top quality and without any risks for the bank.because of it's success it's also being rolled out to the rest of ING

Chino, Chief innovation office, is the place where the innovation happens at ING, different start ups try out their ideas to make them into an MVP and eventually push it to production. During my time in Chino i had 3 assignments.1. Help consulting the teams when it comes to IT innovation, almost all innovation products these days revolve around IT, however there are few teams who actually have people from the IT industry, with these consults i helped validate assumptions early on and advise them on possible opportunities regarding IT while keeping maintainability and expandability in mind.2. Improving the IT canvas, the IT canvas is a way to connect business with IT when it comes to innovation, it has many key points what to focus on in different innovation stages when working with IT when creating a product that should be scalable in the end. The IT canvas was a POC created by an intern, together with Bas Monster i created the first official version which was implemented in PACE the innovation methodology of ING.3. Improving the innovation portfolio web application of ICEC. as a developer i worked on improving the web app while looking at business needs and technical possibilities.
