The Academic Business Club is a foundation which organizes events to inspire entrepreneurship amongst the students of Tilburg University. As chairman I was responsible for a broad variety of tasks all related to the day-to-day management and securing the continuity of the foundation.

The Road Symposium is the biggest entrepreneurshipsevent of Brabant. I was responsible for the organization of the 12th and 13th edition of The Road together with a team of motivated students. The evening was led by Janneke Willemse, the chairman of the evening. Afterwards there was an opportunity to talk things over with the other visitors and make some new contacts over drinks.The Road Symposium 2019 took place on the 8th of April, 2019. The event was also hosted at Theaters Tilburg with guest speakers Charles van Goch (Mise en Place), Jaap Korteweg (De Vegetarische Slager) and Juul Manders (BALR.). The speakers shared their stories with 750 visitors, the event sold out in two weeks. The evening was led by Gwen van Poorten. What made this edition special was the interaction between the audience and the speakers.
