As Field Expert I am advising Secondary School students on their self assigned challenges. My field is Computer Science and Technology (Informatica) and Design in physical and digital form. The Media Lab and Techspace at Xplore Agora are where I am usually found.

Sophisti is a connected product design studio. In our work we connect physical objects and digital media by combining skills from industrial and interaction design with software and electronics development. For these clients we have designed and developed connected products like a coffee roaster, a beer-brewing machine and a fashion photography studio.We develop our own ideas as well which have been featured in numerous media-outlets For example Gamechanger an interactive game board bringing millennial families around the table or Ping (Core77 Award 2011) bridging distances between loved ones with a bed lamp. A recent example is Ding (Core77 Award 2017) a set of blocks to enhance interactivity and electronics in creative sessions.Sophisti was founded in 2007 and is based in downtown Amsterdam where we currently work with a team of 6 designers and developers.
