Lead the faculty and staff responsible for Illinois State University’s Academic English and Pathway programs. Additionally I oversee the International Admissions team.

I am responsible for the academic programs in the area of Academic English and Pathway Programs. My responsibilities include; leading and supervising faculty, academic advisors, managing curriculum and teaching resources, program accreditation, student academic success and satisfaction, work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure success of our academic programs.

Responsible for the non-academic student programs and services areas of the INTO ISU Center; including, housing and dining, health and wellness, transportation, activities/programming, arrival, orientation and transition programs and services, student success initiatives and partnerships with academic programs and other university resources, and communication with parents, families, sponsors, and educational counselors.

As director of ESLI’s Western Kentucky University location, I am the primary administrator and senior DSO for the intensive English program. Together with our team, we strive to fulfill the company’s mission. My job duties include; leading faculty, managing company resources, program development, staff development and training, negotiating agreements, writing accreditation documents, data analysis and reporting, immigration advising and training, budgeting, billing, providing student support services, organizing and implementing orientation, maintaining local website, and substitute teaching.

As assistant director, I was the secondary administrator in charge of leading the ESLI at WKU campus. Job duties include co-leading faculty, billing, immigration advising, providing student support services, negotiating agreements, coordinating student arrivals, organizing and implementing orientation, and substitute teaching.

As student services coordinator, I was in charge of providing student support and aid language-learning students in progressing successfully through the program. Job duties included academic advising, answering student inquiries, creating grade sheets, billing, and substitute teaching.

As office manager, I was in charge of maintaining the ESLI office and providing all employees with the materials they needed. Job duties included ordering office supplies, providing student support services, helping with field trip planning, organizing student events, taking meeting minutes, and organizing and filing paperwork.

As adjunct faculty, I had the pleasure to teach LEAD 200: Introduction to Leadership (Fall 2015, Spring 2016, Fall 2016, Spring 2017), LEAD 440: Leading Teams (Fall 2016, Fall 2017, Spring 2018), and LEAD 450: Leadership in Global Contexts (Spring 2017, Fall 2017, Spring 2018), for the Department of Professional Studies. These courses were taught face-to-face, hybrid, and online.

As study abroad advisor, my main job duty was to advise college students on study abroad options, pre-departure preparations, and post-arrival expectations. I processed student paperwork and recorded their information in the database. In addition, I collaborated with WKU faculty members and departments to facilitate the offering of study abroad programs and course equivalencies. I also created and maintained the website for the office of Study Abroad and Global Learning, as well as the office’s social media presence.
