NOISE combines the creative power of an advertising agency with the innovative and technological skills of a digital agency. As a (creative) strategic planner I am, besides advising on (brand) marketing/communication issues, also responsible for concept improvement & evaluation. Besides that I focus on social media strategy, content management & activation. My work doesn't end when the marketing campaign goes 'live'. I love getting direct results and to adjust the concept to make it even more efficient. Because that's what marketing & advertising is all about: getting things done.Since 2012 I also teach 'strategy & concepting' @ Next Marketeer, thé post-HBO online marketing academy.Responsible for Alex Vermogensbank, Sawadee and L'Oréal. Worked on: Red Cross, Organ Donation campaigns, C1000/Jumbo, Sportlife, Sanoma Media, Nationale Nederlanden, Mars Nederland (Mars en Snickers), Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Miss Etam, Nationale Postcode Loterij and many more brands.Specialties were: interactive & activation planning, brand positioning, digital engagement strategy, social media, mobile marketing, concept development, evaluation and improvement, insight generation, writing impactful communication briefings, brand vision/mission consulting.

In 2008 S-W-H requested me to rejoin S-W-H. My job was to inspire the creative department with creative planning instead of long strategic brand documents. And to install the new way of advertising in the agencies' DNA. Indie is the place to be for out of the box thinking, everything but standard creative work and brainstorms with musicians, meditation guru's and artists. Instead of worrying only about brand strategies, Indie forces planners to dig for true insights. Anything else is not accepted, dig until you drop. So, I strolled the streets, blogs, sites, research reports or directly talk to the target group with a camera. As long as it was an inspiring insight that energized the team. At Indie I was responsible for planning on Nike (activation), Domino's, Eiffel, Simyo and Wereldhypotheek. Also worked on Bolletje, Domino's and Ben & Jerry's.

The place to learn about strategic communication advice and that's exactly what happened. I learned to write long term brand strategies that inspired clients and gave internal guidance. Also taught myself to write creative briefs in just 6-10 lines. Responsible for communication strategy on Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, smart and Mars Netherlands.Also worked on Hi (KPN), Ministry of VROM and Campina. For the latter we won 2 Silver Effie Awards.

The real estate world didn’t steal my heart, communication and S-W-H did. At S-W-H I strategically supported the strategy department with insights, research and trend watching for Sportlife, Bavaria, Venco, Unive and Mora. Won a bronze Effie Award on Sportlife.
