Hello and welcome, I work hard! and I don't say that just to be saying it I expect greatness from myself and try to inspire others around me. I live my life as leader but I do know when to take direction. I have over 8 years of experience working in nonprofits as a youth program developer an worker, doing public speaking in high schools, colleges about sexual health HIV prevention / STD prevention as well as serve homeless youth with getting their basic needs met. Partnering with the night ministry, Chicago department of public health (CDPH) Illinois department of public health (IDPH) an other great organization that saw the need that joined our mission it was a success!For two years after that I worked for my mothers non for-profit which is a childcare facility as Administration and head of cleaning all her facilities. my mother helped me start my own cleaning business as I still do this today but now it through an agency that I adore. I have this great feeling of emptiness when I am not helping others or giving back that's why I joined AmeriCorps as a volunteer for Neighbor Works Home Partners it has been the greatest experience of my life! I am working on the youth financial literacy program and I have learned a lot from the curriculum I am building! I have even used my art skills while being here illustrating a book about home ownership for children and now working on an activity book for the youth in the classes 3rd to 5th grade the opportunity for education & trainings are great! I have learned a lot and so very grateful. I have done Neighbor works Training Institute (NIT) community leadership program (CLP) Neighborhood Leadership Programs (NLP) i love growing in knowledge and putting my best foot forward i look forward to the future!
