As a User Experience Researcher at American Express, my mission is to elevate the customer experience through rigorous research and strategic insights. My competencies lie in managing the full spectrum of user experience research processes, particularly for small business owners selecting their ideal card. Through collaboration with product managers and designers, I contribute to the continuous enhancement of online platforms. A focus on mixed methods research, paired with strong capabilities in various research and analysis tools, problem-solving, and communication, guides my approach to develop actionable solutions that shape an intuitive user journey.My current role additionally involves spearheading the Competitive Insights practice, optimizing research methodologies, and fostering cross-functional team collaboration to refine strategic planning. I also support volunteering and professional development efforts with the Black Engagement Network to build community and colleagues professional profiles. To support diverse huring and recruitment efforts, I aid in building the executive communication strategy for the Enterprise Data And Digital Soultions DEI recruitment pillar, building the storyline for budget and executive update conversations. These experiences allow me to work on my vision to aid communities by looking holistically at systems through equitable and theoretical practices and offering custom workflows and strategies to make better systems.My aspirations are to continue learning about the world, predominantly looking at the intersections of DEI, strategic planning and communications, analytics, user research and technology.
