Will Pedigo serves as the Vice President, Chief Content and Engagement officer for WMHT, providing vision and management of multiplatform content and community engagement. As a leader, Will seeks to create an environment where creativity is encouraged and content is rooted in the mission of reflecting the diverse values and perspectives of the community. Will comes to WMHT after 18 years of service to Nashville Public Television where he worked up the ranks from intern, to editor, producer and finally executive producer for the station. Pedigo is a committed public media professional dedicated to a life of service through storytelling and creating content in the public interest. The recipient of 12 MidSouth Regional Emmy's and together with NPT, the 2019 Excellence in Content Award from the National Educational Television Association, Will Pedigo is also passionate about developing producers by connecting with public media makers from around the world. Will has served as a Moderator for INPUT, the international public television conference and has served as a judge of the coveted JAPAN PRIZE for educational media presented by Japanese public broadcaster NHK. Pedigo participated as a fellow in the CPB Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative hosted at ASU Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. He currently serves as Chair of the PBS Programming Advisory Council.
