I build and lead the Procurement vision, mission and function to maximize purchasing power for this privately held, financial services and insurance company. I form impactful strategies, governance and plans to optimize supplier value. I also partner with consulting firms and own multi-million-dollar supplier relationships. By driving enterprise-wide change, I facilitate the development of best-in-class procurement capabilities. I’m also focused on identifying and executing cost reduction and supplier consolidation opportunities. As a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders and senior leadership companywide, I also facilitate M&A activity and complex deals for this dynamic, growing organization.During this tenure, I have:• Designed the company’s inaugural CPO role and Procurement function from the ground up. I then garnered C-suite support and executed the presented plan.• Cultivated a diverse, cross-industry, fully remote and high-performing team that has elevated procurement capabilities and pioneered DEI efforts. I grew this globally dispersed team from 6 to 75+ employees in 18 months.• Accelerated supplier diversity by holding the supply chain accountable for DEI investment and by directing spend toward diverse suppliers.• Delivered 12% annual cost savings through M&A activity, supplier consolidation and contract negotiation.

I was selected to lead significant business transformation across the Retirement and Procurement organizations. I leveraged my influence to drive change management that advanced shifts in operating model, strategy and corporate integration.Most notably, I:• Exceeded the project goals by 50% while maintaining high morale. I leveraged the McKinsey transformation methodology to strategically overcome stagnation. I also restructured groups to right-size and align teams with business needs. This involved facilitating difficult decisions and accelerating desired attrition, which ultimately saved millions in labor costs.• Delivered 8-figure PTOI annual run rate improvements for the Client Management area through the evaluation of supplier sourcing opportunities and the implementation of key process improvements.

I directed a large budget, a 130-member team and the integration process following a change in business leadership and strategic direction. I drove significant culture change and a talent management evolution that impacted 1,200 Technology employees and 1,400 contractors. I also defined and implemented the technology strategy for the Retirement business segment.Additionally, I:• Reorganized the Technology function, including the structure, business model and spending.• Piloted a culture transition to become more people-focused, trust-based and accountability-driven.

I partnered with leadership teams to develop a profitability and service-focused technology strategy and roadmap. I also presented project issues and solutions to the executive team.Most notably, I:• Recovered a 9-figure, 5-year technology project through effective negotiation with suppliers.• Developed a path forward for the business technology stack and generated alignment up through senior leadership.

Developed and executed 18-month plan that separated $50B AUM business from selling organization, including technology, infrastructure, marketing, sales, client retention, supplier management and human resources. Saved $15MM through supplier negotiations and $3MM monthly in transition service costs.

Led various Technology teams and projects while driving continuous improvement across business processes and tools. Delivered key wins, including $7MM cost savings through license agreement negotiation, securing a strategic partnership with software provider.
