Leading, developing, and driving successful social enterprise and entrepreneurship strategies across public, third, education and private sectors with over 30 years of experience in senior leadership roles. The golden thread has been my commitment to supporting organisations and undertaking roles that support individuals from underrepresented communities and target groups into work, education, and improving well-being. Working with organisations to create, enhance, and lead teams to co-produce new solutions to improve impact and response. Adopting a human centred design approach to service redesign, involving all stakeholders, ensuring their voices are heard and recognised to achieve buy-in. Practising an adaptive leadership style, I practice conscious empathy in creating a clear vision based on evidence and transparent decision-making through a culture of continuous development that supports actions and puts people at the heart of everything I do. I embrace and learn as part of the innovation process of adaptation and improvement needed to meet changing needs and have turned underperforming teams into award-winning departments and organisations around the belief that everyone is a changemaker I am an Ashoka Change leader; leading the University's Changemaker Campus programme, developing social innovation as both a venture development methodology and systems change based on the practice of conscious empathy, managing teams of tems, and systems change. I am currently a member of the Ashoka U Changemaker Campus re-accreditation panel.
