Following a successful campaign to scale and stabilize the web site and tracking software, responsibilities were increased to include all cellular communications, firmware design, and hardware engineering. After correcting a number of critical engineering quality issues, I was called upon to manage the Supply Chain and device manufacturing process, including contract manufacturing vendor management.While at SecureAlert, I have successfully led efforts to scale the web site and device tracking software by 3-fold, implemented a migration plan to Ruby on Rails from Windows .NET, planned for data center redundancy, and enhanced network security. Telecommunication costs, the highest operational technology expense, were cut by 25%. A number of critical device design issues were identified and corrected. After assuming control over device manufacturing and supply chain operations, device production scaled 5-fold with improved quality, while reducing the cost per device by 20%.
