With extensive vice president-level leadership experience in banking and financial services, I’ve developed extensive knowledge of industry practices, processes, regulations, and operations. But beyond that, the true skills I bring to my work are: creating change through process improvements, establishing a strategic thumbprint, and developing and coaching top-talent teams. I’m also proud that I’ve been able to help companies provide better customer service. Currently, I’ve pivoted out of banking for a short time to bring those process and people skills to a division of Brookdale Senior Living Inc. As their Shared Services Client Success Manager, I was hired to improve the performance and environment of this corporate office containing a central call center, accounts receivable, and related accounting processes. I’ve been able to transform the workforce into a more cohesive, collaborative, and engaged team which has resulted in improved call center ratings and decreased ticket times on requests from our Brookdale communities. As mentioned, most of my career has been in banking. Before Brookdale, I was a Vice President at U.S. Bank, managing a $2B portfolio of new home construction loans. We developed a centralized loan processing operations center, reduced loan processing time significantly, and improved the customer experience ratings by over 140%. Before that, I was with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., first as the Vice President Client Relations Investor Performance Management, then as the Vice President Property Preservation. My background in mortgage insurance helped me recover $70M in claim funds, increase our claim payments, and understand the full range of challenges associated with vacant properties. Outside of the office, I like to golf, train collies, and read trade articles or espionage and legal thrillers.
