I pretty much have laid my hands on most of the technology that revolves around IT and communications. I have studied them extensively and managed to tweak them to be more "livable". I also got to work with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems a lot which gave me the flexibility to switch among them with ease. I don't see the point of bashing who is using what. They all have their strength and weaknesses. This helps greatly when choosing the right OS for a particular project. Sometimes I get to play with tech that has no relation to IT. I once had a project that required me to set up a modified passenger jeep with hi tech audio and video setup - and had fun while doing it. I also like working with audio and video setups. In fact, I am constantly upgrading my own AV system.Some of the things I love doing are mostly cheaper alternatives to most turn-key solutions. Show me a $20,000 video conference system and I will build you one which costs 1/4 of that. I have been with Bigfoot for 17 years now. It has provided me with the right tools and a great learning experience. I also had the chance to travel to our different international offices to assemble an IT team.On my downtime, I like to fix broken things - anything. It's one way I vent out stress.
