Security Director, Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club
Security Director for Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club in Phoenix, reporting to the GM of Operations. Responsible for establishing and leading all Security Operations and Systems and Game Operations (up to 60 staff) for their American Family Fields facility. Oversee and manage partnerships with the Phoenix Police and Fire Departments, and EMS providers, in compliance with MLB Security policy. Coordinate with Phoenix Police Department leadership to ensure proper staffing and training to handle various common and unique situations that may arise. Partner with different vendors to support security and game operations including personnel, communications, fire control, concessions, facilities maintenance, etc.• Initiated identification and implementation of Communication and various Security Systems, including VideoSurveillance, ID badge card/Access control readers for specific areas of the facility, and fire control systems.Implemented a 2- tiered access system to include external and internal badge swipe access and a hard key system for high-security areas.• Designed and implemented a Core Specific Security office (operating 24/7) with necessary protocols tomonitor all security systems and notify appropriate security personnel as needed.• Procured and provided guidance to K9 service vendor on all security procedures and guidelines, with respect to MLB policy, which entails area searches and handling of suspicious/unattended items.• Created the first Crisis Management Team and established all policies, procedures, and training in accordance with MLB protocols. Regulated and conducted oversight and provided guidance to Team Events Security Services with respect to their operations and protocols during Spring Training (adding an additional 30 securitypersonnel).
