I've taught trumpet, trombone, french horn and tuba to both beginners and experienced students, remotely and in person, from elementary school age to retired professionals. I teach music theory, history, piano, and ear training to all of my students. I have taught music lessons in various capacities since the nineteen nineties across the East Coast.Performed with the Winston-Salem Symphony, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, Greenville Symphony, Asheville Symphony, Charleston Symphony, Piedmont Triad Wind Symphony, Charleston Wind Symphony as well as festival orchestras at the Aspen Music Festival, Brevard Music Center and Eastern Music Festival. Freelance delivery driver operating in the greater Asheville, NC area. Began delivering food during the height of the pandemic and continued freelance deliveries for four years. Average only one mistake per year.

I performed in-person interviews across Western North Carolina with prospective undergraduates for early admission to Yale University. Alumni-led interviews are one tool Yale utilizes as part of their admission process.

I assisted the Burning Man Project 501(c)3 year-round as a paid employee, supporting the Global Network remotely from Asheville, NC, managing Regional Contact interviews and orientation, driving leadership development, developing leadership conferences, assisting with local conflict resolution, and supporting the creation of volunteer support materials. I sat on the Regionals Committee, RC Intake Team, Conflict Support Subcommittee, Meta-Regional Committee, and Global Leadership Conference content team.Managed the global Mentorship Program where local leaders from across the globe came to Black Rock City to spend their event shadowing Burning Man event leads with similar roles before, during and after the event. Over 60 participants over three years from 25 countries with a budget around 15K.

The Meta-Regional Committee, comprised of fourteen leaders from Burning Man communities around the globe, supports the cultural evolution of the Burning Man Project 501(c)3 as an advisory group providing perspective, consultation and support. North Carolina Burning Man Regional Contact 2006 to 2014, Meta-Committee's Southeast Representative 2010 to 2022. Presenter at the 2008, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 Global Leadership Conferences. I also organized the Southeast Leadership Roundtable, a yearly conference of 100+ southeast community leaders.

Independent quarterly review of incidents at 8 disabled adult support facilities, providing recommendations to local government bodies on necessary action.

Transformus is an annual week-long art and camping event with a 308K annual budget and 2500 tickets that sold out in seconds each year. I supported Transformus as a board member through meeting facilitation, event management, risk mitigation, volunteer development, communications, reporting and leadership development. I also served as legal and insurance liaison while on the LLC charter. Volunteer since 2004. Art Team Lead 2006-2009. Co-developed art grant program in 2006, providing over 1.3 MM to date in community art funding. Planning Committee member 2009 and 2010. Planning Committee Chairman 2009. Board member from 2010 to 2014.

I created dozens of hand-tailored technology-related career development programs, utilizing high-level subject matter experts, supervising curriculum creation, design, execution, publication and promotion. Serving as Program Manager for these curricula, I managed project budgets totaling over 400K, trended evaluation feedback, and generated all project communications.

Managed projects, programs and curriculums for both Executive Talent Management and Enterprise Learning, including most enterprise-wide learning communications, some CEO messaging, required compliance courseware, learning programs and performance review support material. Managing the daily activity of the Quality Team, which supported the creation of hundreds of learning solutions in various formats, I also served as Instructional Designer for Day One: Making Connections, and MS Live Meeting Recording at Bank of America. I co-authored the bank’s Learning Writing & Style Guide, training materials, and enterprise-wide learning communications.

Our committee allotted $200,000 in grants to alumni of the Yale Graduate School of Music.

Managed the workload of two employees at two offices; administered Nuclear Regulatory Commission-mandated training and compliance at 75 commercial and government nuclear sites; wrote policy and procedures in line with Code of Federal Regulations; managed NRC audits; helped design, troubleshoot, implement and manage 8 company databases; managed a document collection totaling over 30,000 items.

I helped to remodel the Grove Arcade, Greenlife Grocery store, and a built three-story house off the Blue Ridge Parkway from the ground up.

Hired, trained and managed entire staff of 27 on tax prep, processing, filing and ethics. Personally prepared approximately 175 returns during the ‘03 and ‘04 tax seasons.
