As the assistant in a two-person IT department, I am responsible for covering all functions of the IT department for a small Bank (5 branches, plus an OPS center and integrated HQ), with the following job responsibilities: 1) Hardware technician and installer; trouble shooter, help desk. Maintained Service Tickets (SRF's) and service logs. Installation, maintenance and updating of general and proprietary software, including bank-specific configurations.2) System Administrator: Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance, Server backup admin, with experience in Veritas and Symantec BackupExec, Maintain 14 servers across WAN and VPN. 3) Maintenance of inventory, destruction of critical hardware and maintenance of Inventory Destruction Logs.4) Technical Writing- creating and maintaining installation instructions, user instructions and Tutorials.5) Disaster Recovery (DR) :participated in planning, implementation, auditing, and documentation. Responsible for, and Knowledge of, IT Department security measures, firewalls and policies, including prevention of social engineering attacks.6) Set up new branch, including set-up of 9 PC's, server rack, server, UPS, and network migration and testing.7) Extensive experience with specialized software (Banking-specific), including OFAC Watchdog, Fiserv Vision/VIP and Fiserv Cleartouch 2.5 and 3.0, including administration functions; Management and config of Nautilus DPS Document Imaging and Optical Storage System.8) Broad experience with installing/updating/maintaining proprietary software, including installs across a network, for programs such as OFAC Watchdog, CWF IRA Forms Software, and the FDIC's Electronic Deposit Insurance Estimator (EDIE).9) Remote maintenance and support using RDC and VNC-based software solutions, including familiarity with WEBEX clients.10) Maintenance and editing of company website, including use of proprietary tools.

For more than 12 years, I was a successful retail manager, working for companies Like Staples, Kay Bee Toys, Zany Brainy, and Electronics Boutique (Now Gamestop).
