Designed and developed Real Time Traffic Filtering/Brokering solutions distributed over several cities for a UAE based major Telecom company. Each solution was spread over several cities and sites. The solutions would do the real time traffic analysis at more than 100 Gbps of telco traffic on each site. These solutions used capabilities of OVS, OVS-DPDK, Redis, REST API, DPDK API and various other related technologies during their lifecycle. The solution was planned and designed in multiple stages to achieve different strategic targets, with each stage using a specific set of technologies. The application was developed to manage SIP, RADIUS, VoLTE, RTP, IP, TCP/UDP et.al from IMS and other related services.

My responsibilities included defining project roadmaps, providing technical guidelines to my team. Below are the projects I lead during this tenure.• Lead the design and development of testing of SDN use cases with OpenvSwitch and OpenFlow. The project required development and updating of Switch firmware using CPSS frameworks in C language.• Lead the development activities for building of an open source C API for fast packet processing applications based on Intel’s DPDK called twister. As MTS I was responsible for designing, development, deployments and integration activities. Some of the projects I conducted included:- Development and Design for OpenStack deployments for ETSI NFV architecture based on Libvirt API, Qemu/KVM, Xen API and Citrix XenServer- Development of Fast Packet Processing Applications to be run as VNFs on ETSI NFV architecture. The applications leveraged the benefits of Intel DPDK libraries to achieve high speeds.- Planning and management of OpenStack based cloud resources dedicated for Enterprise customers and various internal teams.

As contract engineer to Dell Techonolgies, I was part of the team responsible to assist Dell Research Team in building a Fast Datapath cloud solution for NFV use cases. The solution would leverage the capabilities of SRIOV, NUMA, Hugepages, OVS and DPDK in OpenStack cloud. The solution was aimed to develop a robust cloud which can run VNFs, and Telco based high workloads.I was also responsible to setup datacenter resources for customer’s NFV products in Dells Datacenter including setup of Dell’s Datacenter for first OPNFV release (Arno).

As Teaching Assistant of "Data Structures and Algorithm", my responsibilities were to conduct Labs, quizzes and assginments for the class. I was also responcible to guide students in their semester projects.
