As an enlisted Marine, my primary specialty is Tactical Transmissions Operator (Field Radio Operator). I obtained formal schooling on basic radio wave propagation and theory, as well as radio components and functions. I was selected for a special duty assignment as a Marine Security Guard at U.S. Embassies abroad. I have served at U.S. Embassy Abu Dhabi, UAE; U.S. Embassy Khartoum, Sudan; and U.S. Embassy Nassau, Bahamas. During my embassy duties, I have exercised leadership abilities in time-critical situations. I have exercised management through the supervision of four foreign employees and also subordinate Marines. My experience with the Department of Defense and Department of State has allowed me to build vital leadership qualities built from the principles of good character and discipline and has enabled me to experience international relationships with diversification in various cultures.
