The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) was established in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by identical twin sisters Kathy Giusti and Karen Andrews soon after Kathy’s diagnosis of multiple myeloma. The MMRF has established the collaborative Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC) of 21 world-renowned institutions, launched the groundbreaking CoMMpass℠ Study to collect and analyze multiple tissue samples from 1,000 patients over a multi-year course, and seen ten drugs receive FDA approval in the time that it normally takes for one. Responsibilities include the management of multiple fundraising teams, including those participating in marathons, IRONMAN races, and the MMRF's groundbreaking proprietary programs, Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma and Road to Victories. Responsibilities also include communicating with team members, assisting team members in fundraising efforts, managing relationships key partners and sponsors, coordinating on-site logistics, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all activities, processing and keeping record of donations, and running on-site programs for the teams.

The Fairfield University Student Association (FUSA) consists of five boards and branches; Senate, Marketing, Programming, Treasury, and the Council of Student Organizations (COSO). COSO was created to oversee, maintain, and assist all undergraduate campus student clubs and organizations. Just under 100 student club and organizations currently are active on campus. COSO is responsible for the allocation and handling of all club and organization budgets, assisting in marketing for all clubs and organizations, and holding workshops and other meetings to continue to help clubs and organizations develop. General responsibilities included holding the charge of a board of five other undergraduate students, serving on the Executive Cabinet to the Undergraduate Student Body President of Fairfield University, presenting at various workshops and assemblies for audiences of up to 150 students and faculty, holding frequent meetings with various key partners on campus, including faculty, upper administration, students, and staff, and serving on the Programming Review Committee on behalf of student clubs and organizations. Financial responsibilities included handling an extensive budget and overseeing the allocation and reconciliation of just under 70 separate budgets, working with University Accounts Payable to implement proper policy and uphold University regulation, devising a fair and equal allocation system, keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions, processing payments with outside vendors, and utilizing the University Banner system to process financial transactions. Administrative responsibilities included processing/booking club and organization events through the University EMS system, maintaining physical records of all activities, and developing and maintaining the University OrgSync system, which included such responsibilities as creating new club portals and maintaining accurate outward-facing financial information.

Responsibilities included the creation and publishing of monthly newsletters, creating and editing promotional materials for clubs and organizations, and presenting at and running various workshops for audiences of up to 150 students and faculty. In this role I was also thoroughly trained in Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities included assisting in any and all tasks for the MMRF Endurance Event's Team for Cures IRONMAN Lake Placid team, a team consisting of 110 athletes, including two Multiple Myeloma patients. Responsibilities also included developing individual profiles for a majority of athletes, processing and keeping records of donations received, editing and producing a short video to be shown at the team reception, coordinating the attendance for the team reception, and assisting in all on-site activities throughout the week-long event that cumulates with a day-long IRONMAN race in Lake Placid.

The Black Dog brand was born on the island of Martha's Vineyard with the opening of the Black Dog Tavern in Vineyard Haven. The Black Dog grew into a successful clothing brand, and now operates 28 different locations spanning from Georgia to Maine. Responsibilities included the set up and break down of storefront, handling all cash and credit transactions, providing thorough and exemplary customer service, processing returns, creating, organizing, and processing large and small shipments of materials, and maintaining accurate records of store stock at all times.
