Responsible for the end-to-end maintenance and operation of the infrastructure that delivers high quality and reliable technology services to DataYard’s customers and DataYard’s staff. DataYard’s infrastructure includes all components in the delivery of the company’s services, including: the physical data center facility, mechanical and electrical components of the data center, data center access controls and fire suppression, core network transport, switching and routing, network distribution, storage arrays, physical and virtual server infrastructure, operating systems, and system services and applications.Provides direction to the people on the Infrastructure Team, to mentor and coach themto grow in both their technical and leadership capabilities, as the entire team pursues infrastructureinnovation and excellence in pursuit of DataYard’s organizational goals.

As a VCP and MCSE I work heavily with DataYard’s cloud computing architecture and shared service product offerings. I design, implement, and manage the architectures involved in our Virtual Data Center (VDC), Versatile Infrastructure Platform (VIP), Windows Fusion (clustered and highly available IIS instance), and dedicated managed customer instances. I am proficient in the following technologies:Microsoft Servers: Server 2003, 2003 R2, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2Microsoft Applications: Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SQL, SCCM, VMM, and SharePoint.Programming/Scripting: C#, Powershell, C++, VBScript, Python, and least of all Perl.
