Hired to develop and implement an Athletic Academic Support program for student athletics in five (5) Men and Women’s sports teams. Provide support and assistance with focus on student athlete initial and continuing eligibility and NJCAA rules compliance Coordinate Tutoring Program: “Tutoring Fridays”  Produce and prepare required forms and reports per NJCAA, EADA and other agency requirements Advise and monitor the academic progress of 80 student athletes.  Operate the procurement process for purchase and payment of athletic materials and supplies Complete eligibility for each sport teams while maintaining compliance with the National Junior College Ath-letic Association (NJCAA) rules and regulations Worked in conjunction with the Student Financial Aid Office, coordinate issuance of Letters of Intent and monitor athletic scholarships Advisor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Hired to develop and implement an Athletic Academic Support and Compliance program for 150 student athletics in fifteen (15) Men and Women’s sports teams. Provide guidance and direction to new and continuing Student Athletes to ensure they are meeting their academic goals and pro-gress towards degree for athletic eligibility and transfer requirements Create and send weekly academic progress reports and concerns to coaching staff. Created the Student-Athlete Handbook for all student-athletes that outlined academic responsibilities, NJCAA rules and regula-tions, eligibility requirements, use of athletic trainers and physical requirements and Oakton Academic Program for student-athletes Monitor the progress of student-athletes and facilitate life skills workshops and referrals to academic support resources. Educate and communicate academic and life skills resources to assist Student Athletes toward personal and academic success.  Completed Eligibility for each sports team while maintaining compliance with National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) rules and regulations.  Worked in conjunction with the Student Financial Aid Office, coordinate issuance of Letters of Intent and monitor athletic scholarships.  Member of Oakton’s Program for Assessment and Learning (OPAL) working with other faculty and staff member to improve student learning outcomesAccomplishments included a 30% graduation and transfer rate creation of Student-Athlete Handbook, implementation of tutoring pro-gram Tutoring Frida s, and a 3-part Life Skills workshop.
