I lead KPMG's Consulting practice in Argentina, where I am responsible for P&L management, offering development, business development and team leadership, among other related responsibilities. The Consulting practice comprises Cybersecurity (both IT and OT), Technology & Business (Operating Model Transformation, Change Management and Project Management) and Digital (Process Automation, Data and Artificial Intelligence). I have a very hands-on approach to leadership, getting involved in both business development and delivery as needed to develop my practice. In particular, I have been deeply involved in agile transformations in large organizations as well as in cybersecurity and technology strategy engagements. In this role and previous ones I have been involved in engagements and practice development activities around the world, including USA, UK, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, among others.

Previous to leading the Consulting practice (see the corresponding entry) I led the Technology & Cybersecurity Practice, which comprised Cybersecurity, CIO Advisory (Agile Transformation & Technology Strategy) and IT Audit. During my tenure, my team grew from ~20 FTE to 100+ and many of my team members grew from staff to management and director positions.

I joined KPMG as a Director and during my first year I co-led the IT Advisory practice, which was mostly focused on Cybersecurity, Technology Strategy and Program & Project Management. During this initial period I led several strategic engagements in the financial services and telecommunications sectors mostly, also developing the practice and the team. I also designed and delivered several trainings on Agile methodologies to the global KPMG project management community, which was considered very innovative at the time and made me a well known SME on the subject in the global KPMG community.

In parallel to my role as Head of Consulting in Argentina, I lead the Global OT Cybersecurity Nexus, which reunites all KPMG leaders and practitioners of OT / Critical Infrastructure / Industrial Cybersecurity around the world. My responsibility is to jointly develop new offerings, support large opportunities, develop partnerships and mantain a global thriving community of cyber security practitioners in this space. Particular achievements in this role have been the federation of our global OT Cyber Security labs as well as developing the alliance with Claroty, one of the world's leading solutions in the OT space.

I was in charge of business development, service/project tracking and control, people management (recruiting, staffing, career development) and development of new offerings. When leaving this position for my next role, I was leading a team of about 60 professionals, including software developers, architects, project leaders and consultants. In this role, I re-organized and re-launched the Technology Service Line, which involved a redefinition of the overall competitive strategy as well as the internal organization. I designed and implemented a team model based in “cells” (similar to Squads in today's agile at scale models), which were specialized teams lead by a cell coordinator, reporting to the Service Line Manager (e.g. Sharepoint Cell). The team model allows for specialization and team motivation. The cell model allowed to go from a “manager centric” structure to a “cell centric”, providing for higher scalability and delegation. I also led the achievement of the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner qualification for the Pragma Consultores Group. Acquired the Information Worker and Project Management specializations within the Gold Partnership. As a result of the reorganization, the service line regained internal confidence, grew from 35+ people to about 60+ in three years.

I joined Pragma Consultores (today, Practia Global) in 2003 as a Software Engineering Process Improvement Consultant. In this role I did assessments, coaching, process design and tool implementation (Merant Dimensions, a leading Software Configuration Management Tool) for several large clients. Most engagements were based on CMMI and some early agile approaches. I worked in Argentina and Chile. From 2005 to 2006, I was also the Technology Consulting Practice Coordinator. In this role, I developed the offering of Pragma Consultores’ Technology Consulting practice. Also worked on business development for the practice, including sales presentations, proposal and quote preparation, presale consulting and organization of marketing events.

My initial roles were of Software Developer, Technical Lead and Software Architect for financial systems deployed in Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Mexico. As JPMorganChase was acquired by Chase, my division turned into Lumina, an independent company providing services to many clients, including JPMorganChase and Nobleza Piccardo (British American Tobacco). I played the Software Architect and Software Process Analyst roles, mostly for a Core Commercial System Development Project for Nobleza Piccardo (British American Tobacco). Lead an architecture team consisting of two expert software developers. In this role I started to experiment with agile processes and started to involve in software engineering process improvement.
