I've spent more than 30 years working with nonprofit organizations to help them reach their goals and share their story so that more people will support and participate in their work. In my most recent position, I’ve been able to draw from this experience to lead and build a collaborative team to work toward specific, measurable results that benefits participants as well as our own employees while also addressing inequalities in our society .In addition, I'm a writer and editor who enjoys writing feature articles and short stories, both of which have won awards. My debut novel, Rooted in Sunrise, will be published in September, 2024. My book, Yes! I Am Catholic, sent me into so many fascinating interviews with people about their faith. I also contributed to A Cup of Comfort for Breast Cancer Survivors and Heartland Plays published my collection one-act plays, Mothers, Daughters and the Spaces in Between.
