CurrentContributes to the development of high-quality educational materials by editing for grammar, clarity, and consistency. Works directly with the editorial manager and content developers. Coordinates with stakeholders in multiple locations and departments throughout the organization to meet course deadlines and organizational standards for quality.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviews and edits materials for correct grammar, punctuation, and clarity as well as consistency in style, voice, and form. Cross-checks references and verifies all course components are complete.Reads, listens, and communicates effectively—both verbally and in writing.Coordinates with content developers to resolve questions or inconsistencies.Demonstrates proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and is capable of learning additional online platforms.Marks hardcopy using standard proofreaders’ marks and implements changes in online classrooms.Updates existing course materials, as needed.Works in a results-oriented, deadline-driven, team-based environment. Adheres to project schedules and established guidelines.
