Words have always fascinated me and I guess my love for the typed word encouraged me to venture into the world of freelance writing way back in 2006 when I was working as a full-time educator. I did some freelance work on and off while balancing my full-time job, decided to switch careers and came into the domain of content writing in 2007, worked for a couple of IT companies as their in-house copywriter, content strategist, and creator, and finally decided to fly solo at the start of 2009.Since then, I have written content pieces for many clients and for my own website, which range from as mundane as weight loss and beauty tips to travel pieces (that satiate my wishful existence while being shackled to the work desk), write-ups based on quirky ideas (I remember one piece in particular, where I wrote why content writing is like dating Taylor Swift), HR-related content, tech pieces related to SaaS and AI, and a lot more. Disclaimer: I'm not a techie but I enjoy writing on interesting tech-related subjects as long as they don't need an expert's POV! After my husband decided to quit his corporate job in 2014 and switched careers to join me, it's been a two-member team. Along the way, an editor friend became part of the journey.
