My husband and I co-founded our custom bath bombs gift shop together back in May 2018. I am responsible for everything having to do with running and operating the small home-based business operation. I am one of the main Mixologists, Sales Representative, Customer Service, and Customer Care Manager, & Dispute Resolution, Advertising, Marketing, Networking, the Brand Storyteller, Merchandiser, Writer, Copywriter, Editor, Supplies and Inventory, all design work (both offline and on the website which I designed and built), to the graphics, the Brand's Logo, and any Affiliates or related Partnerships. I handle e-commerce, the shipping, and take the customer's orders. My favorite things about this job are that I get to work at home with my husband creating fun crafts with our hands that people really love and use often. I was the Shift Manager and a Lead Customer Service Representative. I worked independently and usually had the whole shift to myself. I managed any and all duties that occurred during business hours including but not limited to stocking, customer service, de-escalation (if needed), customer satisfaction, all of the cashier duties including being responsible for counting my drawer every morning and evening as well as the bank deposits. I managed inventory, and I took on all aspects that you would expect of a Manager of a Retail Business Store. I was also responsible for keeping the store clean and well-stocked, for my own Time Management, and anything else required during normal business hours.

I was the Shift Leader and Manager at Hollywood Video and was in charge of not just myself as an independent worker and team member but was also in charge of other team members and customer service representatives. I was responsible for the morning bank deposit and for my cashier’s drawer and the drawers of the other employees at all times. I counted down the drawers at night and figured out the deposit amount earned for that day. I was responsible for the running of the store in absence of the actual main store manager. I led and motivated the other employees and I did Project and Time Management concerning them. I was responsible for de-escalating any situations and for the customer satisfaction of our patrons. I was in charge of the daily and nightly operations of the store and well-versed in all matters involving the opening and closing of the store. I was also in charge of the cleanliness and regular operations of the store including putting the videos back on the shelf and was also in charge of leading the team and providing them with appropriate motivation to do their job well. I was nearly the head of management for any problems that arose, and I was in charge of maintaining the security of the computer system and the confidentiality of our customers listed therein.

I was accountable for customer satisfaction and provided de-escalation services as needed. It was up to me to ensure that the customer service representatives were making their appropriate sales and going through their verbal speaks with every single customer. I was entirely responsible for the basic operations of the store and for any problems that arose during my shift.

I was a very trusted Customer Service Representative and Satisfaction Team Member who was often left unattended to run the store independently, by myself. I was responsible for going to get the shoes that the customers wanted as well as memorizing their sizes and the desired colors, brands, and styles. My main responsibility was taking care of our customer’s wants and needs and to their exact specifications whenever possible. I was also in charge of some of the cleaning of the store as well as responsible for my cash drawer and for making sure that we were fully properly stocked at all times. I also aided Naturalizer in shutting down this store when they closed, and I was even paid a nice severance for doing so. Extra duties involving that were inventory management, shipping duties, and paperwork.

I was a Customer Service Representative who was hired in advance of Easy Spirit’s deciding to close its doors and go out of business inside of the Meadowood Mall in Reno, NV. I was responsible for sales, customer service and satisfaction, and also for keeping our inventory well-stocked as we had “Going out of business” sales to reduce our products to prepare for the store’s closing date in August of 2002. I assisted the manager and my fellow employees with shipping and sending back inventory that Easy Spirit did not want sold for sale prices. It was my duty to keep the store clean and appealing-looking, and I was also responsible for my cash drawer at all times as well as for taking over the store and managing it when I was by myself as relief to other co-workers so that they could have their lunches, etc.
