Caprice has graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast with a Bachelor of Creative Writing/major in criminology. She holds a 6.04 GPA. She has completed and graduated with a first class honours degree in criminology in 2021. Her thesis was titled ‘Utilising CPTED principles and techniques to prevent alcohol-related violence and nuisance crimes in Nambour’. To obtain a copy, please contact her directly. Creative Writing:Throughout her time in the degree, Caprice has expanded her knowledge on creative writing to publishing standards, how to use media to her advantage, and how to establish worthy and professional connections within her industry. She is skilled in creative thinking, editing, writing, and has some experience with InDesign. Caprice has also been involved within the creation of a published anthology titled UltraViolet as an editor. She has valuable knowledge and experience of reader reviews, proofreading, line-editing and copy editing, as well as maintaining a open dialogue with authors, designers, artists and a publication manager. Criminology: She has also acquired valuable knowledge in criminal profiling, security (including CPTED), criminal justice ethics, restorative justice and rehabilitation amongst other things. She is very interested in correctional facilities. Caprice currently works as a Cybersecurity Case Manager at IDCARE. Within this role she advises victims of credit and identity fraud, scams and organisational breaches. Caprice also currently works as a Case Manager at George Migration. Within this role she processes and submits visa applications. Caprice has worked under the retail giant Big W for over 8 years, and was involved in management. She has learned invaluable skills such as customer care and management, money handling, problem-solving, diffusing difficult situations, and has honed her time and organisational skills. Within the industry she has learned roles such as receptionist, service desk associate, checkouts, party store, fittings rooms, floor, nightfill, and has some experience in the cash office.
