Materials Supervisor
Current• Supervise Material Handlers: Oversee and manage a team of material handlers, ensuring efficientoperations and adherence to safety protocols.• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and coordinate withprocurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials.• Warehouse Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving,storing, and distributing materials.• Daily Cycle Counts: Oversee daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and address anydiscrepancies promptly.• Material Receiving: Supervise the receiving of materials, ensuring accurate and timely processing ofshipments.• Process Improvement: Implement and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency, reduceerrors, and optimize space utilization.• Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and companypolicies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.• Coordination with Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure materials are availablefor production and other needs, resolving any issues related to material availability.• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, usage, and requirements to buyers forpurchasing decisions.
