Program and operate Coordinate Measuring machine, analyze data and deliver reports to engineering or other support or management staff as required to support FPA, 6 improvement projects, process control, set-up and audit inspection, part and tool trouble shooting. Coordinate dimensional and mechanical layout, inspection and test work. Further develop and improve plantwide metrology program, including review and approval of measurement and calibration service suppliers and acquisition, qualification and documentation of measurement systems. Further develop use of control plans on make parts and assemblies. Log activity and prepare regular reports to leadership. Coordinate the FPA activities for make parts at Tulsa Division.

Primary responsibilities were the programming of Coordinate Measurement machines, the coordination of projects involving coordinate measurement machines, FPA’s, special projects, training of apprentices, liaison to vendors for calibration services, special gage design and drawings for tool build.

Oversee the general activities of the Quality Department, including Gage Calibration and R&R studies, the First Piece Sample Submittal Process, conducting and evaluating Process Capability Studies, and training of all associates in efficient and accurate measurement methods.
