Teaching Freshman English

The Pipeline Energy Expo is a two day conference which will target every aspect of the pipeline industry, including engineering, construction, inspection, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), maintenance, rehabilitation, safety and integrity. The conference will offer prime opportunities for pipeline professionals to learn, network, and seek innovative solutions and products. The exhibit floor at the Pipeline Energy Expo will allow visitors to experience new technologies, view equipment demonstrations, and network with those energy industry leaders.

Joined Oil & Gas Journal in 1982 as Associate Technical Editor, promoted to Pipeline Editor in 1984 and took on gas processing technical coverage in 1985. Promoted to managerial in 1999 and took on LNG coverage in 2004. Retired as Chief Technology Editor--Midstream on July 1, 2015.

Teaching a variety of literature and writing classes, including advanced writing.

Taught technical and professional writing

Wrote and edtied company external newsletter "Hydril Connections"; wrote new-product press releases; shepherded lengthy technical manuscripts through writing and magazine placement.

Wrote press releases and stories for UT System publications about hospital activities, especially breakthroughs in treatments and disease management.

Taught technical and professional writing and literature; served as faculty adviser and sponsor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English students organization.
