Responsibilities include:Designing and maintaining the in house network comprising of up to 30 workstations and 7 servers.Ensuring the computer system meets the current and future requirements of the group, including the integration of several third party applications and phone system. Supporting and maintaining the network as required.

Training and support to external client base on, Microsoft products, Sage Line 50 accounts software and associated packages (Job Costing, Payroll, BOM etc).Supporting in house network comprising 160 workstations, 10 servers, across 3 sites. Responding to in house requests for training on Microsoft Office and Sage software by running suitable training courses.

Supplier of bespoke computer solutions to a national customer base. The company focused on specific industries, such as merchants (builders, plumbers etc) supplying custom solutions. Other solutions included packages for the farming community.Responsibilities included:Training and support to external client base on software packages developed in house. The majority of the work was telephone support based, with site visits for training, installation and updates.

Preferred transportation and storage company for a majority of national supermarket chains. The family owned business has been trading for 26 years and currently has a turnover of £5.5M with over 70 employees.Responsibilities include :Upkeep of computer system, including hardware and software maintenance and liaison with support companies to ensure smooth and continuous running of all computer programs. Weekly payroll of three separate departments, purchase ledger duties. Transmission of financial information to factoring company and payment transfers to bankers.Advanced Recruitment & Selection Services Limited- Hull East YorkshireAn employment agency set up by Akester Plc to supply workers for all fields of employment.Responsibilities included :Accountant for the company, including maintenance of the purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll.

The company was a subsidiary within the RFR Group of companies and was engaged in the finishing of sheet metal products using modern powder coating and electro plating plant, to high quality standard, Turnover circa £ 2M with a work force of 42 employees.Responsibilities included :Provision of all accounting records; interim management accounts; annual accounts for audit; cash flows; budgets; VAT returns; payroll management; stock control; supervision of accounts staff; credit control; some company secretarial duties ( statutory, minutes of boards meetings etc.); insurance; overseeing and development of the computer systems.
