Scott is a real estate developer and architect, he leads real estate investment and development activities for the office. AIP is currently in various stages of development of over 2.6 million square feet of mixed-use developments with over 1,700 residential units between New York, New Jersey, The Southeastern Region and California, among others. Scott’s professional experience encompasses over 40 million square feet of built work in the United States and internationally.Scott has been a featured speaker at events for TEDx, The World Architecture Festival, and the National Convention of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), among others. Scott’s work (through various organizations) has been recognized with over 30 global design awards for innovation and groundbreaking development. His work has been featured in publications such as Bloomberg Business, Fast Company, Architecture Record, Architectural Digest, Arquitectura Viva, and Dwell, and other international media outlets. In 2015, he was recognized by Engineering News Record (ENR) New York as one of the top 40\40 design and construction professionals and in 2016, by Next City in their top 20\40 vanguard of urban innovators. Previously Scott was part of the leadership team and oversaw design and development activity for Seven Valleys, the office of one of the most internationally celebrated and renowned real estate development firms. Prior to Seven Valleys Scott was a designer with Perkins & Will, one of the largest and most influential architecture and urban planning firms in the world.
