As WSDFirm’s owner and senior trainer, I am involved with training programs from a very holistic standpoint including everything from first point of client contact and requirements gathering to program creation, execution, evaluation and continuous improvement. My end-to-end involvement in technical training allows me to have the greatest possible impact on each individual student and in turn, the organization I am assisting as a whole. Below are my key areas of focus: ✱ NEEDS ASSESSMENT: I collaborate cross-functionally with internal client teams and vendors to gather training requirements, formulate actual use cases, and understand all knowledge gaps and service needs. ✱ TRAINING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Based on the results of my needs assessment, I create customized training curriculum, schedules, agendas, companion guides, presentations, and virtual tools. I involve the client as much as possible to ensure I am meeting their evolving needs. ✱ INSTRUCTION & LEARNING FACILITATION: Once a program has been solidified, I execute it using a variety of different learning mediums. I love interacting with my students and am often told they walked away fired up to put their newfound technical knowledge into action. Curious about some of the trainings I have led? The list below covers some of my recent and most exciting projects: ● FIDELITY: Since 2012, I have been a lead trainer for multi-month training programs that include case study projects in combination with instructor-led sessions.● GOLDMAN SACHS: For 8-years, I was involved in creating, leading, and continuously improving their new hire program.● EPHESOFT: I led multi-level training efforts, which employed various learning methods including instructor-led training and blended models. ● The IRS: Not only do I lead training sessions, but I also provide IT consulting services. In this case, I was involved in advising their IT group on the building of a web database interface.
