Oversaw the personnel and administrative matters for 400 member squadron tasked with all aspects of airfield operations and support to tenant units; responsible for execution of Headquarters Squadron’s air transportation mission with Beechcraft King Air aircraft.

Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) communications planner; led planning for communications architecture and support, provided briefings to senior staff, coordinated with NATO officials regarding BMD technical command and control processes, collaborated on planning and development of future missile defense sites.

Served as Personnel/Recruiting Officer, Aircraft Maintenance Officer, Pilot/Flight Commander, and Executive Officer in Presidential Helicopter Squadron . Earned qualifications and advanced ratings in the Presidential helicopter series. Served as a Marine One Pilot responsible for Presidential support missions, including flying the President’s helicopter domestically and overseas.

Attended graduate level education that develops critical thinkers, innovative problem solvers, and ethical leaders who will serve as commanders and staff officers in service, joint, interagency, and multinational organizations confronting complex and uncertain security environments, leading to Joint Military Professional Education Phase I certification.

Directed activities and managed staff of 108 service members responsible for maintenance and mission readiness of 12 CH-46E helicopters in combat as well as the well being and development of subordinates. Deployed with the squadron in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM II. Directed maintenance effort resulting in 4,000 mishap free mission hours for unit aircraft.

Detachment Officer in Charge during deployment with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM with British Marines. Instructed and led coalition staff and special forces on close air support methodology. Contributed to the development of combat standard operating procedures. Published in Marine Corps Gazette as subject matter expert on missions and organization.

Developed operational plans that resulted in the training of 50+ pilots and aircrew and that met all assigned support requirements. Provided daily logistics support to a squadron of 140 members.
